RAFT Training: Building Resilience While Facing Uncertainty
November 2 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
As a person who has dedicated their life to the well-being of others, resilience is a critical skill in all facets of your life. This series of three 2-hour workshops will provide critical tools and techniques that help improve your own well-being and build resilience. ICADV is partnering with RAFT – Resilience for Advocates through Foundational Training – to provide this series of workshops in two different cohorts. Tuesday sessions (November 2, 9, & 16) will be for supervisors and leadership in the domestic violence service community. Thursday sessions (November 4, 11, & 18) will focus on advocates, victim assistants, and other staff of domestic violence service provider agencies. The work we do and the experiences we live every day are hard. We cannot help others with our own tanks on E.
