Stalking: A Tactic of Abuse and Beyond

It’s not a surprise that stalking is a crime that both scares and fascinates our culture. Between horror movies like Fatal Attraction and Obsessed, romanticized media like You and Twilight, and of course the plethora of true crime documentaries stalking is an ever present topic of conversation. But how much do we really know about stalking? 

In this webinar, we’ll define stalking behaviorally and in the criminal code. Then, we’ll take a deeper look into who stalkers are, the tactics they use, and the relationship between stalking and intimate partner violence. We will finish our session with exploring strategies for safety planning and resources for those impacted by stalking.
