The Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) is seeking a full-time Evaluation Specialist (ES) to support the Coalition’s mission to work for the prevention and elimination of domestic violence. ICADV understands evaluation as a critical strategy for advancing the Coalition’s equity and social justice goals. ICADV seeks to improve the impact of programs—including services and prevention strategies–by engaging in disciplined evaluation. The ES will work with members of the Coalition staff and community partners to conduct comprehensive evaluation projects from formative evaluation through data collection, analysis, reporting and program improvement recommendations.
Qualified applicants for the ES position will have training and experience in program evaluation—preferably in the public health or social service fields. A qualified applicant must have experience in designing and implementing evaluation plans with skills in a broad range of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods. Additionally, applicants should embrace the empowerment evaluation framework—being prepared to work in collaboration with diverse community stakeholders, to engage in participatory action research, to ensure that the evaluation questions posed are relevant, and that findings are communicated in ways that are clear and actionable for stakeholders.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. Salary range $45,000 – $52,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
