ICADV has partnered with the Multicultural Efforts to End Sexual Assault (MESA) and the Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault (ICESA) to develop a free prevention webinar series focused on disability justice. The webinar series seeks to share how to collaborate effectively with people with a variety of disabilities, including developmental and intellectual disabilities, and to develop a shared understanding of the problem of inequity to build common solutions across the state of Indiana. The disability services and advocacy field have a mantra: “Nothing about us without us.” Multiple disabilities are represented on the collaborative team organizing and developing the series, and the team includes people who receive disability services and people who work in disability services or advocacy themselves. Below you can find more details about the each webinar in the series.
